And my week could not have been worse
As usual, he was driving home from college. Suddenly, he swerved the car when another car cut into his lane. Hitting the kerb, his car flipped and rolled over a few times.
A few helpful men stopped to help pull him out of the wreck. The Honda's a goner. He was admitted to the hospital immediately with head and body injuries. X rays and CTscans are clear, but he's in a lot of pain.
The news broke during half time of my netball semifinals yesterday. It could not have been so timely. I was extremely worried that my hands were shaking profusely, refusing to calm down.
But thank you Lord for your protection. I am thankful that nothing worse than this has happened. Please watch over this notorious brother of mine with your healing hands and your merciful angels.
If you know Eng, include him in your prayers will ya? And it's a week before his 19th birthday.

Gosh! I was so shocked to hear about the accident too! But like u said, thank God he's alrite..no broken bones, etc...Will continue to pray for God's healing on him, both physically and mentally. I'm sure it's very traumatizing for him, your whole family, and also all of us who knows him.
What a bummer for this to happen a week b4 his birthday! Oh well, but thank God for his grace and mercy to Eng...it's really a reminder to all of us on how fragile life can be.

Thanks HoongYan! Leong Eng has been discharged on Wed but still has headaches. He won't be able to take his exams either next week.
