Ring ring

Was yakking on the phone on Saturday morning when my conversation was abruptly disconnected. I checked all possible connections to and from the phone to see if there were any loose wires. We have had trouble before with just a mere loose connection somewhere.

The phone company came today to fix it, the problem being a loose connection in the socket which we didn't bother to look. I am an electrical engineer. Should I be expected to know these things? Or should I have devoted a little extra time to troubleshoot the problem?

Nah I couldn't be bothered. Hee.
